Each vial\/tube is designed to last one month in a 300L aquarium with a baseline of an average sized sump growing a caulerpa spp. bed. Each vial would ideally be spread out over the month and dosed weekly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eUsed in conjunction with normal water changes these will keep levels of bioavailable Iron, Potassium and Iodine around optimal levels for optimal healthy growth of marine macro algae, either in a macro algae dominant tank or mixed reef.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThese are Nitrate and Phosphate free, we would advocate keeping your Nitrate between 5ppm-10ppm and phosphate around 0.1ppm for optimum algae growth.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eBe aware using these will keep an elevated level of bioavailable iron (compared to natural sea water) in the aquarium. There is no scientific evidence, elevated iron levels cause any issues for other marine livestock.
