Description:

An extremely forgiving, encruting stony coral. Great for using as a tester coral as to whether an aquarium is ready to take stony corals, without breaking the bank. Largely 2 tone green in colour, adorned with hair like protrusions, giving it the characteristic 'fluffy-shaggy' Pavona look. An extremely unique, interesting growth form make this a stunning coral to add interesting structure to an aquarium. Growing irregular vertical 'cactus like' plates, capable of reaching an impressive size.

A 20mm plug, fully encrusted with the coral.

Care

Undemanding for a stony coral, very tolerant of flow, one of the few corals that can cope with being really blasted with heavy flow. Does best under medium to high light and medium to high flow. As with all stony corals it does need stable reef parameters and a more mature aquarium..
