Rhodactis mushroom ("Forest fire with bounce vesicles")(20mm Frag plug/rock rubble)

Description:

One of the smaller Rhodactis mushrooms but with a tendency to grow tightly together to provide lovely mats of 'fuzzy' colour. A teal base colour is all but hidden until its outer rim by fuzzy orange vesicles, in typical Rhodactis style. Many develop the highly prized 'bounce vesicles' once mature, which can be seen on the photographs. (fluid filled vesicles in orange or teal on the disk of the mushroom).

Care

Extremely easy to care for, tolerant of most flow and lighting parameters, although more vesicles will develop under higher lighting. 

You will recieve 2 polyps of this rhodactis mushroom around the size of a 20p piece when expanded. These will either be attached to a small piece if rock rubble or frag plug. 

Please be  AWARE, once packed these mushroom shrink down to little more than a tiny 'blob of jelly' on the frag plugs, be extremely careful not to squash them or accidentally throw then away.

2 polyps (mushrooms) - Be aware that whilst we pack mushrooms attached to rock rubble or a frag plug, as with anemones they occasionally release their foot from the plug in an attempt to float off to find a new place to attach. Please make yourself familiar with techniques to reattach them (rock rubble container is easiest) should this occur.
