Our soft corals will actively be growing onto the frag plug or rock rubble of their own accord, not simply glued onto plugs once cut. We leave all our softies 8 weeks to fully attached their stems to substrate before selling.

Description:

This is a stunning, real "old school" coral that is never imported anymore into the UK. Something REALLY unique with its snow white branching form adorned with fluffy dainty polyps. To look at it you would be forgiven for assuming it is not photosynthetic, its ghostly pigmentation resembles something you would expect to see on the bow of a shipwreck hundreds of meters down in the darkness of the deep ocean. Thankfully this is not the case, this coral is fully PHOTOSYNTHETIC and actually appreciates decent light intensity!

Size

Expanded frags are around 5cm, be aware as with most soft corals, after shipping they can close and deflate to look little more than a small blob of jelly. When deflated and closed tight this coral appears the usual tan-off white colour seen in many soft corals. We assure you, once open, it is pure white!

Care

Undemanding. Happiest and best expansion seen under moderate light and high indirect flow.
