Description:

An encrusted 20mm frag plug of this unusual Turbinaria species. A forgiving stony coral, with an interesting unique growth form.

This morph boasts a lilac base with small yellow polyps. Prized for its scrolling growth form and sustained growth and pastel shades, providing colour and interest without having to dial the deep blue lights up!

Care

Moderate care, adaptable to most flow and most lighting. Showing markedly different scrolling formation dependant upon different flow and lighting levels. High flow and high light results in a fast growing heavily scrolled and convoluted colony with light paste shades, whilst low flow and lower light often give rise to a more cup like growth form, much thicker skeleton and deeper purple base colour.
